Having a balanced body and mind is something we all strive towards, but with so many modern day lifestyle stresses and poor diet habits, our body tends to be more on the acidic side. This creates imbalance and can lead to more serious health issues. Stress symptoms show up in different ways; generally feeling off, acidic in your stomach, dry mouth, lack of energy, brain fog, joint pain, dehydration, bloated, poor digestion, mild depression, anger and defensiveness. So to help ease these symptoms, it’s super important to incorporate more hydrating, digestive and alkalising greens to your diet. This smoothie is full of them and will help to balance, hydrate and bring back balance and harmony to your body and mind! .

1-2 cups fresh pineapple pieces
1 cup romaine lettuce leaves
½ cup fresh mint leaves
¼ fennel bulb
2 small Persian cucumbers
1 thumb size of fresh ginger
1-2 fresh lime juice
1-2 cups of filtered water

1. Add all ingredients to vita-mix or blender, and blend on high until smooth consistency.

2. Pour into a glass, serve immediately and enjoy!

3. Can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
