Cacao + avocados are two of my favourite ingredients, and this dessert is hands down has both of them, and the most simple thing to whip up when you have a sweet craving. I am a terrible baker, and frankly think it takes too long when you are longing for something delicious. This dessert will satisfy those cravings, and promptly! It only has 5 ingredients and is made in under 5 minutes. It’s also technically good for you, there is no diary, or gluten, refined sugar and there’s a bright green delicious fruit in there, and we all know how I feel about green things - the more the merrier! Voila.
2 ripe avocados
1/4 cup pure cacao powder
1/4 cup pure maple syrup
3-4 tbsp nut milk
1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
1/8 tsp salt
Toppings:
Fresh berries
Coconut flakes
Cacao nibs
Salt
1. Add all ingredients to the food processor and blend on high until smooth. Check how creamy your avocados are, you can add more nut milk if it needs to help blend.
2. Once smooth and extra creamy it’s ready. Scoop out into a glass ramekins, and use a spatula to make sure none of the delicious goodness get left behind. Licking spatula is mandatory.
3. Decorate with blueberries, cacao nibs and a pinch sea salt.
4. You can eat it straight away, or store in the fridge for 1 hour until gets extra firm. It will last for 5 days, if you don’t eat it all!
