SOL Nutrition synchronizes you with nature's solar cycles by knowing WHEN to eat WHAT. TIMING is built into every biological organism on Earth in greater or lesser synchronization with our central environmental clock, the SUN.
WHAT IS SOL Nutrition ~ SOL Nutrition is a lifestyle that uses chronobiotic/solar nutrition as a base for a naturally balanced - healthy life. Since the beginning of time, before trendy health fads, we have been tuned in to the circadian patterns of nature. Morning, afternoon and nighttime, are all influenced by the light and frequency of the Sun. Eating and living in such sync with nature we evolve physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
EATING IN TIME - CHRONOBIOTIC/SOLAR NUTRITION
Chronobiotic or solar nutrition is eating foods at a specific time of a day based on the organism’s utilization of light as indirect energy. When food is eaten in this manner, it allows for the easiest digestion and nutritional efficiency of food in the body. The chronobiological light cycle is a timing function regulating the growth cycle of all life on Earth. Evolution has calibrated organic life’s DNA to the 24-hour cycle of day and night, making the human body a living sundial. The Earth’s 24-hour rotation and the Sun’s angle of light acts as a giant pendulum. The Sun is the dominant “pendulum clock” affecting the other “pendulum clocks” (humans) and when they become desynchronized from the dominant clock, the result is disease.
Food eaten in the correct time has the ability to balance the body’s Ph and set it to the optimum lipid response cycle. This brings into balance our health on levels of emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being as well as physical support. We can best obtain balance in our daily lives through nutrition, time of food consumption, and the words we think and speak.
HOW IT WORKS
In nature, foods growing closest to the Sun (trees) have the most naturally filtered and Sun charged water and are the most charged with electromagnetic energy. Our bodies naturally cleanse in the mornings, so it’s important that we consume these type of foods at that time of the day. Since they are most loaded with electromagnetic energy, they have the most cleansing effect on the lymphatic system. Fructose, a simple sugar found in fruits, enters the cell wall without the assistance of insulin, providing the cleanest and purest “fuel” for our bodies. This is why we should only consume fruits growing in the trees during the morning phase.
Sunrise phase // Midday phase // Sunset/Rest phase
The “Sunrise phase”
When the Sun rises, our bodies are waking up from a rest phase, and from a long period of not consuming any food or drink, also known as fasting. The sunrise phase is when our bodies are eliminating, cleansing and freeing ourselves of digested matter, waste which weighs us down. Every living organism on the planet is affected and charged by ultraviolet light and sun frequency. The foods that receive the first sunlight are highest away from the Earth. They contain the most electromagnetic energy and antigravity properties. These are foods found in trees, such as fruits, coconuts and some nuts. We can absorb 100% of the nutrients in these foods when we eat them while dialed into the same frequency as they are.
During this phase our lymphatic system, the sewer system of our body, is eliminating all the metabolic waste that has been accumulated during the rest phase and is prepared to expel it. The morning phase is the time to consume easy to digest energizing foods such as fruits and coconut water. NOT a time to consume hard to digest or slow digesting foods and/or proteins.
As the Sun rises and settles above the trees, we transition into the next phase of the day and of our body’s biological system.
The “Midday phase”
During this phase, the Sun is strong and stable, charging all the organisms that are above land, yet not covered by canopy (trees). Mostly bushes, land foods and animals. These foods contain the highest levels of amino acids (protein) so the body can absorb the nutrients properly.
**Exception: When the body is extremely ill, it must be broken down and cleanse during the entire day. The three most cleansing foods on the planet are berries, grapes and melons. During these severe scenarios, we must cleanse and move stagnant lymphatic matter by consuming these foods also in the afternoon instead of the building foods, which are for maintenance and growth.
The “Sunset/Rest phase”
When the Sun sets, our bodies are preparing for the final stage of the day, which is the rest phase. During this time, we typically crave warm food such as root vegetables, sea vegetables, seafood and fish. These foods are extremely grounding and comforting. When it is cold and dark outside, we would never search for foods in high canopies as we would in the morning.
FOODS DIVIDED BY THE THREE DAY PHASES
SUNRISE FOODS - BREAKFAST
These foods normally grow in trees or high bushes and are available to receive the high angle of early morning Sun. Start your day (prior to noon) with these fruits, or citrus fruit in any form, eaten alone.
Fruits: apples, apricots, avocados, bananas, cherries, dates, figs, guavas, mangoes, huckleberries, kiwis, lychee, nectarines, olives, papayas, peaches, pears, persimmons, plantains, plums, pomegranates, prunes, tamarind.
The following foods are also considered morning foods, but have higher levels of fat, therefore not optimal for cleansing during the circadian cycle. Eat at your discretion, in small quantities, and not combined with fruits.
Acorns, almonds, apricot kernels, beechnut, brazil nut, butternut, carob, cashews, chestnuts, coconuts, filbert, hazelnut, hickory nut, macadamia, pecan, pine nut, Arabica coffee, cocoa, unsweetened chocolate.
Natural sweeteners: maple syrup, brown sugar, dates, coconut palm nectar BUILDING
FOODS - DAY TIME // LUNCH
These receive full sun in the afternoon hours and thus should be consumed at that time. These are generally herb/shrub/bush/ground items that optimize direct sunlight from above, not at obtuse morning angles.
Vegetables: artichoke, arugula, beet greens, belgian endive, bell pepper, bok choy (top half), broccoli, brussel sprouts, cabbage, cauliflower, cayenne pepper, chayote, chile peppers, celery (top half), chives, cilantro, collard greens, corn (is a grain), coriander, cucumber, curly endive, eggplant, escarole, green onion (top half), lettuce, kale, kohlrabi, leek, okra, parsley, peppers, radicchio, pumpkin, rhubarb, sauerkraut, spinach, sprouts, squash, sugar cane, tomatoes (are really a fruit) greens (garden and wild), herbs.
Legumes: beans, seeds, soy
Oils: ghee (clarified butter), flax oil, sesame oil
Meats: fowl, lamb, beef, venison, pork
Fruits (eat alone): berries, melons, grapes
Rice, Non-white flour breads, Cereals, Dairy
GROUNDING FOODS - EVENING // DINNER
These foods absorb late day refractory solar energy that has been absorbed by the ground, and grow/assimilate most during the evening hours. These will be found under the ground or water level. Think root vegetables, fungi, and plants whose harvested part is within a few inches of ground level, above or below.
Vegetables: artichoke, asparagus, bamboo shoots, beets, bok choy (bottom 4",) cactus, carrot, celery (bottom half,) celery root, dulse, garlic, ginger root, ginger root, hearts of palm, horseradish, jicama, kelp, kohlrabi, leeks (bottom 5",) lotus root, malaga, mushrooms, onions, parsnips, potatoes, radishes, daikon, rutabaga, scallions (bottom 4",) sea cucumber, seaweed, sea vegetables (all), sweet potatoes, taro root, turnips, watercress, water chestnuts, yams, yucca root.
Seafood, Fish, Eggs, Aloe
Fruits: pineapple, dragonfruit
A HEALTHY LYMPHATIC SYSTEM
The lymphatic system falls under the eliminative systems of the human body. It provides not only protection for cells, but serves to remove wastes as well. The hundreds of trillions of cells in our bodies are surrounded by liquid. This make-up of this liquid consists of 25% blood and 75% lymphatic fluid. An easy way to understand the roles of the blood and the lymph (lymphatic fluid) is to think of the blood as the food for our cells and the lymphatic system as the toilets/sewer system) where our cells deposit/dump all the waste created after eating the food. Just like any sewer system of plumbing system, it must continue flowing in order to stay clean, if the system becomes congested/constipated/or stagnant, then we get “SICK”. The physical body and lymphatic system act like a police force and sanitation department , all wrapped into one. The lymphatic system picks up the trash from each cell depending of the lifestyle of the individual. Many foods that people routinely eat clog and over burden the lymphatic system. Colds, flu, allergies, sinus congestions, bronchitis, lung issues, tumors, boils, lymphomas, skin rashes, etc., are nothing more than an over-burdened, congested lymph system.
All dairy products (pasteurized and raw), complex sugars, sodas, peppers, etc.), toxic chemicals, foreign protein (meat, etc.), cause a lymphatic response of the mucosa, namely excessive mucus production. Once the body becomes over-bombarded with this mucus from the lymphatic system, the mucus itself becomes the problem and causes stagnations - cancer.
